Causes: Human Service Organizations, Human Services
Mission: Captain John’s Voyage of Hope and New Beginnings mission is to use fishing, boating and outdoor activities to give disadvantaged youth and people with special needs a powerful, healing, and fundamentally life-changing experience. We are In Corpus Christi, TX. On an annual basis, Captain John’s Voyage of Hope and New Beginnings will be able to offer events for people who can benefit from once-in-a-lifetime Boating and/or Fishing experiences. Our outdoor programs will support Purple Heart and live combat veterans, families suffering through the terminal illness of one of its’ members and underprivileged youth who lack proper mentorship. Often the price to participate in hunting, fishing and outdoor activities is a limiting factor and we believe that there should be no cost to participate in our events. With our programs forever evolving and growing.
Results: We've had a few Voyages with Great Results.
