Mission: The capital pride alliance, through its diverse planning and stewardship of glbt organizations and events, specifically year-yound pride festivities in washington, dc, will serve to celebrate, motivate, and support our diverse communities in order to grow and protect our legacy for future generations.
Programs: Capital pride alliance produces the week-long annual capital pride event including the festival drawing over 250,000 attendees and parade providing the lgbt community and their allies the opportunity to show pride in themselves, celebrate the gift of diversity while acknowledging lbgt contributions to the larger culture.
