Our business has been involved with Micah Clark with Camp Patriot for a number of years, we have never been so fulfilled when it comes to providing adventures to our Military Veterans. We donate guided hunts and fundraising help any chance we get with Camp Patriot, A truly dedicated operation that puts our vets first. Camp Patriot is simply put, "An Outstanding Organization," they are staffed with a group of folks that are extremely accommodating and positive, providing experiences to our vets that are second to none. We have had experiences with a number of vet focused organizations in the past and Camp Patriot is in a realm of their own!! We highly recommend donating and or getting involved with their process of incorporating vets with much deserved respect, appreciation, adventures and out right piece of mind that there are millions of Americans that support them abroad and at home. Feel free to contact our staff for any testimonials, pictures and or videos of our past CP veteran hunts, better yet come participate and see it for yourself!!

I was asked to provide a review of Camp Patriot if I so chose. After looking at the site, I chose to write a somewhat lengthy review after seeing several negative reviews that offer no context to what seem to be baseless accusations. I neither work for nor donate my time or owe anything to any of the people associated with Camp Patriot. I’m just a vet who had a great experience.
A curious person, while attending their event I asked a lot of questions and learned a great deal about the organization. They host a slew of events for Veterans and caregivers from Vietnam vets to the current conflicts in the world. I wouldn’t doubt it if they’ve hosted WW2 on up vets but the photos I saw were from Vietnam to recent conflict vets. I know the folks at Camp Patriot have and continue to work hard to make the camp better. Even on what is pretty obvious a shoestring budget compared to other nonprofits.
My experience impressed me enough to pass along the group’s info to other veterans. I don’t recommend many nonprofits because, yes, some are questionable at best. I have been to ~10 nonprofit veteran outings. I would easily rate Camp Patriot in the top 3. I also know of a couple other major nonprofits considering collaborative work with Camp Patriot.
I would like to point out a few disappointing factors I feel need to be addressed as I read other reviews. Saying something is a “scam” or “a joke” with no context is just poor etiquette and does not help people make a decision due to the lack of explanation as to why something is a “scam” or “a joke”. You are not helping anyone, good or bad.
Up front, I understand these posts are old (2015-2016), but I was still surprised to see them written about the same organization that hosted me.

You obviously haven’t met the owners or the board of directors. No, I haven’t met all of them, but everyone I had the chance to meet was beyond nice and a Veteran themselves. It would be great for you to expand on why they are a scam? Are you a Veteran who had a bad experience, a volunteer that had an issue or a donator that was questioning about where your funds went? It would be helpful for people why you THINK they are a scam.

My response on prepper aspects
How are you able to make comments about supposed “prepper” activities? Did you help them horde jars of jams, pickled foods, beans and rice into an underground bunker? You are correct, it is likely a million dollar or more property. However they have hosted many Vets and caregivers throughout their premises. I was one of them and I know a few others as well. Please provide some information to help back up your claims. Maybe you worked there, I don’t know. However, we obviously had very different experiences.

This post seems ridiculous to me. No context period. So you can see through the forest to this 100 acre ranch to see what’s going on? It is very wooded there. I’m sure they would have given you a tour if you would have asked. You could have gone over and donated your time to get a firsthand look at the lodges and amenities they have built. You could have helped in any of the events for vets which would have been a great option to get firsthand experience of what Camp Patriot does for the people that protect your rights to freely post or say what you want. Anyone out there can get on Google Maps (even with the old imagery) and debunk this. That’s a quick simple look at a couple buildings built. Common sense or you can just reach out to them. Again I’m sure they would show you the place if asked.

My response to the RUMIT (military term for Rumor Intelligence)
This line says it all “from what we have heard”, which means no actual experience or are heavily speculating. Who is “we” and where were you getting your information? Hearsay is hearsay. Why wouldn’t you confirm these facts before posting online? As a nonprofit, their funding is transparent. They have a board of directors who would be to blame if these statements were true. From what I have personally seen your comments are false.
Camp Patriot has/had major corporations/businesses that donate/d to them. It would be silly to think that major corporations don’t care where their funding (large or small) is going. Especially when their names are tied to the organization. They want updates and proof that the work they are funding is good and legitimate or they would pull their funding and send their support elsewhere.
TLDR: My experience at a Camp Patriot event 6 months ago was excellent. The negative reviews I see here seem to have zero hands on experience with this organization. As with everything, some Veterans will love what these guys and gals are doing and some probably will not. If you want to express a negative opinion, cool, but make it substantive and helpful. We all improve with constructive criticism. At the end of the event I attended, I was asked if I had any issues just like a military After Action Review (AAR). They were appreciative and receptive to my few small comments. No place is perfect but Camp Patriot was an amazing experience and great time. I personally highly recommend the organization.
Thank you Camp Patriot for the hard work and great time.
This charity is very honorable in every way, serving badly wounded vets and utilizing everything at their disposal in the best possible way.Their only aim is to come alongside these wounded and handicapped ones to help them belong. All staff is admirable in this regard.
I have greatly enjoyed helping the Clarks on various projects.
My son started Camp Patriot in 2005 and I have assisted in all the filings with the IRS and with the ongoing administration of Camp Patriot. We have averaged around 70 vets per year, some years well over a hundred.
The trips have varied over the years; from climbing Mt Rainier for our first 7 years and many hunting, fishing and other adventures over the past 8 years. We now concentrate our efforts on bringing vets to the Ranch in Yaak Montana, as it is an asset we own, and have invested in many upgrades to give the vets as good an experience as possible.
We do not advertise when the vets are there nor do we try to use them to promote Camp Patriot other than to tell others about their experience. We do take some promotional pictures with banners of Corporations that have helped us with the full agreement of the vets in the pictures and share those with the donor companies.
We have loved every minute and every vet that has honored us with their presence over the years .
Along with everyone else these past 8 weeks have been a challenge to keep the lights on, but so far God has blessed us and we are raring to bring more vets out as soon as it is safe to do so. We so appreciate all of the help and donations we receive and pray that God will bless those who have dug deep and continue to support and help us fulfill the Camp Patriot motto of; "Giving back to those who have given."
I was invited up to Camp Patriot this past week and let me tell you, it was a fantastic healing experience for me. Micah was such a fantastic host for the 4 of us that were invited. I had never been ice fishing before. We also got to ride the snowmobiles he has there. I thank all of the corporations and individuals that donate to this worthy cause which helps veterans enjoy the life we used to enjoy. God Bless You, Micah Clark. Steve Gump, Vietnam vet.

This is a scam do not donate to this. From what we have heard this organization which has a great idea went south rather quickly. Fundraisers are still being held in Washington with thousands of dollars being funneled into Montana under the guise of "helping veterans". In reality the land that was purchased with the millions of donated dollars is being used as some crazy prepper compound. A few folks who have actually gone through the program have mixed feelings about it. Early on not so bad but the later vets say it's a joke. Last I heard the fundraising that purchased this ranch have basically been spent funding the owners own dream of owning land in Montana. Now he lives off the donations. Read the other reviews for yourself. The owner continues to hit up Washington and ask for money removing funds for legitimate charities who are actually doing something in the local community for local veterans. So if you want your money being funneled into a prepped compound that barley does anything for veterans this is the right place for you.
Used to live right behind this camp so I have had my eye on developments. Doesn't seem to be any.

Total scam. Despicable amount of fraud to benefit owner at the expense of true patriots. How can I rate zero stars?

Hey!! Wanna give your money away to a group of preppers who are building a compound based on donations supposedly for veterans!! Then feel free to get scammed and give your money to this group. They purchased a million dollar property in NW Montana but haven't had one single veteran through in the year that they have owned it. Yeah, they take a few veterans out once every few months in Washington but they do just the bare minimum to make it look legal. This is a prepper compound being funded on the backs of donations for supposed injured combat veterans. This organization is worthless and shameful. Don't give money to this outfit.

I am very pleased to say i have met Micah and Bob when they came to Gladewater, Texas for our fundraiser . I was so impressed by both of these men for all they are doing for our returning soldiers. It warms my heart to have been a part in helping to raise $20,000.00 to help show that we care for all our soldiers and stand behind them. I hope to continue to be a part of helping to always be a part of Camp Patriot. I want to go to Libby to see first hand a dream come true. God continue to bless you . Marilyn
Camp Patriot is my favorite non-profit in the country. These people know how to change lives for the better. I've worked for a couple of years with Camp Patriot, through many outings and adventures and every single one of the outings was first class in regards to priority of the actual Vets/Heros. I have seen lives changed and smiles returned because of Camp Patriot. Every dollar donated to Camp Patriot is put to good use (for the vets). The administrators of Camp Patriot are first-class people with great intentions...and they get the job done. I look forward to many more life-changing outings with this awesome group of patriots.
Personal, life changing, an inspiration! This organization gives wounded vets the opportunity to earn back confidence and dignity. They create strong relationships with each vet that last a lifetime. These relationships are key to helping vets. A great organization!

This groups is a hands on adventure program for wounded heroes. I highly recommend the fine work they do. I had the opportunity to hunt with them and one of our heroes and I was most impressed with their professionalism and the great work they do for our vets.
