Causes: Equestrian, Sports
Mission: Foster amateur equestrian sports competition; confer achievement awards to various direct participants in equestrian sports competition; educate the public in proper methods & techniques of horsemanship; provide a forum & voice for horsemen to share their knowledge, talents & skills in horsemanship; promote & conduct horse show competitions; provide volunteers for public education in schools regarding the care, training & treatment of horses; provide an accident & benevolent fund for the assistance of low income professional horsemen in times of need or emergency; and, provide grants & scholarships to children of low income families for education at a college or university.
Programs: Conducted medals finals for 68 foundation equitation & 48 wce riders; held equitation clinic; held year end awards dinner honoring individuals as hall of fame inductees, lifetime, junior and special acheivers sportsmanship and dan abbey special award; gave clinic scholarship; conducted foundation education classes; provided scholarships to 5 students, and provided emergency aid to 1 individual.
