I came upon Caddo K9 by happenstance, and the ideas presented by this nonprofit organization resonate with me as my grandfather was a Vietnam vet who suffers from lingering PTSD. He said that having an animal does help, especially when you see them as a member of the family. I feel as though the goal they present is quite valuable as helping Vets with lingering mental health issues is quite the noble cause, in addition to providing dogs with a home to someone who hopefully will love them. To be clear, I have known the owner of this nonprofit for awhile but I write this without bias nor preference for him or his family. I fully support this project and wish the best for all involved.
Caddo K9 Academy is an awesome nonprofit with a great mission. It’s clear that they really love what they do and love helping others. My husband is a veteran and first responder and we were given a dog. Remi has been a huge blessing to our family and brings so much joy. While she isn’t a service dog, she is most certainly a support dog! She gets my husband up and going and gets him outside to play with her several times a day. She’s the sweetest dog and extremely smart. I highly recommend Caddo K9 to all veterans and first responders who could benefit from having a dog!
