Causes: Economic Development, International, International Economic Development, Microfinance
Mission: Sharing the love of jesus christ through building sustainable communities around the world. The first community is in galette chambon near ganthier, haiti. Currently building a sustainable community called thoman, which is about a two hour drive east of port-au-prince, haiti. The areas of need include spiritual, physical, water systems, education, housing, and economic development.
Programs: But god ministries has assisted in local economic development through education, agricultural development, orphanage housing, job creation through construction and repairs. Such job creation exists through road construction and repair; through commercial construction of churches, an orphanage, playgrounds, medical and dental complexes,and a secondary school; and through residential construction. Volunteer missionaries have made trips to assist in ministry to the people of haiti. This requires various support to be made to these volunteers, including housekeeping, translators, cooks, drivers, groundskeeping, security and other miscellaneous services.
we seek to meet physical needs through our medical and dental clinics. The clinics are operated by full-time haitian doctors and american nurses. Visiting medical and dental teams are also hosted for week long visits. As a result, tens of thousands of patients have been treated at our clinics. Donated medical services not included in program service expenses for 2015 was valued at $238,878. Additionally, nutritional needs are met through the digging of wells for access to clean water, planting of gardens, and chicken and egg farming.
we have built over 90 houses, including 44 houses for those living in tent cities as a result of the earthquake.
