Mission: Improve the Overall School and Social Climate. Kickin' It® is created to empower and inspire children; positively impacting them to overcome negative obstacles that would inhibit them from developing into tolerant, independent, healthy functioning members of society. The Kickin' It Kids Center educating, supporting and providing children with positive outlet programs, life skills workshops, character education, leadership qualities, diversity and culture awareness; in-depth understanding of accountability, appreciation of how exhibiting proper etiquette behaviors and social decorum are important to overall success.
Target demographics: Kickin' It Supports and Educates Children from Early Childhood throughout Their School Years & Social Journey. Curriculum and Programs are Designed for Children Beginning at 2 Years Old through College
Direct beneficiaries per year: The center serves over 2,100 children, 250 educators, 5,800 families and guests annually
Geographic areas served: • reduce bullying behavior • improve the overall school and social climate • provide youth with strategies to build and balance self-confidence and self esteem • teach children to take responsibility of their words/actions and how it impact others • provide children the tools to positively intervene to help another
