Programs: In 2017, the foundation invested over $2. 4 million through a unique set of programs including $2,165,000 to 67 youth-serving nonprofits from our invest in youth grant program, as well as a significant investment in a new restorative justice model for brooklyn public schools via our brooklyn restorative justice project. Our brooklyn youth fellowship also entered its third year, allowing young brooklyn residents the opportunity to be community grant makers.
the donor advised program provides customized support, guidance and services to donors who open a donor advised fund with the foundation. In 2017, the foundation issued over $1. 87 million in donor directed grants - 70% of which went to brooklyn nonprofits. Nonprofits
