Mission: To inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us the most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.
Results: Despite the current economic climate, BGCAA continues to expand services to more kids and reduce expenses without cutting staff or services. 98% of Club member seniors graduated with their class in 2010 compared to a 66% graduation rate at their relative schools. It costs the Club $520 per year to provide programs and services for one child, whereas it costs $70,000 per year to keep a chile in the Texas juvenile justice system. 100% of Thurmond Heights Club members advanced to the next grade level. 100% of Class of 2009 Lanier H.S. Club members began college in fall 2010.

Programs: Bgca provides assistance to youths of all backgrounds with special consideration given to those from disadvantaged circumstances. Programs are diversified into physical, emotional, cultural, social, and educational needs of the youths. Character development includes health services, counseling and guidance, tutoring and remedial education, camping and field trips, and many other activities.
