Mission: Boxing Resource Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering fitness, academic, and leadership skills among youth and young adults through teaching the art and science of Olympic-style (amateur) boxing.
Programs: Provides onsite homework help and learning opportunities and boxing training to 40 students in the East Nashville area, who are at risk for absenteeism,
failing a grade, and/or dropping out of school. Students who participate in the after-school program are invited to participate in boxing or other physical activities. This program is free for qualifying students.
We are recruiting volunteers to work with students one day per week (Monday through Thursday) from 3:00-4:30. Volunteers will be coordinated, directed, and trained by Boxing Resource Center Educational Coordinator, and work with other tutors. Please visit our website for more information.
