My manager referred me to this organization when I was injured from a car accident. I felt funny going somewhere for help, but as soon as I talked with the director I was at ease. She helped me see that this was not like welfare, but just good people helping others when they're having a hard time. They paid my electric bill, gave me food and even laundry detergent. The director also helped me with some of my medicine costs. I love this organization and I hope to someday be able to give back.
