Causes: Blood Banks, Health
Mission: We dedicate ourselves to make available, for the patients, through the blood center of northcentral wisconsin, inc. , a safe, adequate, economical and voluntary supply of blood and its components for the alleviation of pain and suffering and the saving of human lives.
Programs: Collected 7,244 units of blood from various sites in taylor, marathon, langlade and shawano counties. The blood and its components are then distributed primariliy to hospitals in the same counties. A total of 6,713 units of blood and 3,054 component units, such as ffp plasma, cryo and platelet pheresis were distributed.
