Mission: LIFE House for Animals is a no-kill canine and feline adoption facility with managed intake. Our mission is to nurture, celebrate, and reinforce the human-animal bond with successful animal adoptions, preventing overpopulation of pets and providing community education and awareness of animal issues. Our mission is accomplished by making permanent placements based on the individual needs of the animals and adopters.
Results: Our results continue to be a challenge to quantify, between our Pet Food Pantry which assists pet owners who are having trouble making their food budget in a given month, to the advice and information we give when we can. We can say with certainty that on August 18 2022, Skipper, a kitten born in our care by an abandoned pregnant queen Lovey, was given guest number 4650. Baby was guest number 1 on July 12 2003. Our organization and volunteers have helped the lives of at least that number of our furry friends, and continue to help anywhere we can.
