Causes: Biological & Life Sciences, Education
Mission: To inspire all students to engage in science by empowering teachers.
Target demographics: We provide 4 services to teachers: bioscience curricula, reagents, equipment lending and professional development.
Direct beneficiaries per year: Over 100 teachers impacting over 11,000 students
Geographic areas served: Our office, lab and warehouse is in Burlingame. We work with teachers all over the Bay Area and beyond
Programs: We are a 25-year old program that provides portable science laboratories (equipment and supplies) to high schools. We serve over 100 teachers, and 12,000 students annually. We provide laboratory training and support to teachers, and we increase access and equity in science education through material and in-person support.
