Our rescue originated for the purpose of the city shelter animals benefit and blossomed unto a larger rescue goal for abandoned pets in the county and smaller surrounding underserved cities. At all times, we have strived to cease suffering due to overpopulation, abandonment, and owner surrenders of needy pets. Quite often our primary goal has brought us severely ill or injured pets that we've provided emergency medical care to save lives in that capacity as well as spay/neuter, fostering, and community education. We have so many stories of pets struggles it's hard to choose a particular one. Angelique, a Boxer mix dog, was found starving and abandoned with severe injury to her back leg and nether regions. Through our veterinarian, she has made a full recovery and has been adopted. Overly, a former pound cat, was trapped and suffered severe injury to his tail which had to be amputated. He made a full recovery and was adopted through PetSmart.
