Operates in a manner consistent with the requirements of rev rul 69-545, through it's provision of health care services to the community, regardless of ability to pay. Our mission is to improve the community's health through the efficient provision, coordination and integration of quality health services, health education and research. We also provide compassionate, quality health services according to the physical, spiritual, phychological, social, religious, environmental and economic needs of our communities.
Programs: In 2016 barnesville hospital provided care for 756 inpatient admissions resulting in 2,682 patient days. We also provided 24,596 outpatient visits plus 7,590 emergency room visits. Barnesville hospital is a critical access hospital and provides extensive inpatient and outpatient care for members of the community regardless of their ability to pay.
