Programs: A) publication of trade journals and newsletters - during 2016, the association's newsletter was distributed online to its 850 members and nonmembers 6 times during the year. These publications provide for one of the forums by which information about the industry, its current developments and legislative changes can be disseminated to members and nonmembers. B) conventions and trade shows - approximately 140 members and nonmembers of the association attended the association's trade show and conference. Such trade shows and conferences provide a forum to discuss current issues and developments in the industry, new technology in the industry, show new products and methods in the industry and elect new board members and officers.
