Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Christianity, Philanthropy, Religion, Religion-Related, Voluntarism Promotion
Mission: We seek to help fill the temporal and eternal needs all people have by helping committed volunteers minister in the areas of their interests, passions, gifts, and abilities.We also help churches and organizations to become more externally focused, and we help design innovative service delivery systems and diverse partnerships between agencies, ministries, and houses of worship.
Results: We have served 32% more individuals than last year at this point. ACM's volunteers, and those of our church partners (on projects we assist them with) have given over 21,000 hours of volunteer service, valued at $418,000 according to the federal government.
Target demographics: All of metro Atlanta, wherever there are human and spiritual needs to be met, we will help recruit volunteers to meet those needs.
Direct beneficiaries per year: The 4000+ volunteers we help mobilize
Programs: 24 different ministries grouped as follows:inner city; multi-cutural; large group/seminars; professionals/communitybuilding; sports/arts/leisure; and unique ministries. We serve over 21,000 people per year.
One very exciting program is Childcare Provider Training(in Spanish).
