Causes: Education, Scholarships, Scholarships & Student Financial Aid
Mission: To facilitate professional education in commercial real estate for the 500 members and 100 superintendent and engineer employees of members' companies who do not have employer financial support for this type of education. Scholarships are also available to non-members who have some limited experience and demonstrated commitment to a career in commercial real estate.
Programs: The arthur w. Olofson scholarship fund provides scholarships for professional designation courses for real property administrator (rpa), facilities management administrator (fma) and systems maintenance administrator (sma) developed by bomi international (an educational affiliate of boma international) and conducted locally by the university of st. Thomas (ust). The fund also offers scholarships for students of a college or university majoring in real estate. Recipients are recommended by a faculty member of the educational institution based on academic achievment, financial need, extra curricualar participation, and demonstrated commitment to a career in commercial real estate.
