I have been a fan of this organization for nearly a decade and recently became a board member. Art With Heart does a wonderful job delivering solutions for kids in crisis using the therapeutic power of art and creativity. It started with an idea to develop a book for a young girl dealing with cancer and blossomed into a full-on publishing operation with numerous book titles to address the needs of kids in many different crisis situations. Steffanie Lorig, the founder and director, is a person of highest integrity. Over the years, she has attracted top artists to donate their work for the books. She has built an impressive series of therapeutic programs to accompany the books. And she has inspired a corps of dedicated volunteers and donors to make it all happen. The organization has helped thousands of kids and has plans to grow much bigger. I'm glad to be a small part of the Art With Heart family and can't wait to help take it to the next level.

I've been involved with Art with Heart for the past 10 years and joined as a Board member three years ago. The organization is making a huge impact in the lives of children across the country and world. Inspiring creativity and helping kids address social emotional learning in a non-threatening, enlivening way is so important for any youth, regardless of the issues they face. It's an honor to be a part of this organization and I feel that their way of doing business and keeping their costs low while selling an amazing product is a great model for other non profits to follow.
