Causes: Disaster Aid
Mission: A. The objects, purposes and nature of the business of the corporation are to serve as the hub for collaborative information sharing, providing a neutral environment of trust where partners from industry, law enforcement, intelligence, and academia can come together, leveraging cross-sector resources to more effectively analyze critical, real time intelligence and respond to emerging national security cyber threats to arizona's critical infrastructure and key resources essetial to the functioning and well being of the people of the state or arizona and the nation; provided that such activities of the corporation are for purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code of 1986, as amended (or the corresponding provisions of any future united states internal revenue code) (the "code").
Programs: Member organizations have been brought together, forums have been established, trust is developing and information exchange for the public benefit has begun, producing actionable information to protect arizona's critical assets and key resources, and protect national security interests. Member organizations more than doubled in 2014. Member organizations are public and private sector organizations representing critical infrastructure and key resources identified by the us dept of homeland security, all essential to the functioning of the state of arizona and/or its economic security. The addition of new member organizations during 2014 have more than doubled our size or resulting in just over 100% growth during the year, with no sales personnel. This growth resulted in actra representing a multi-sector, regional group by year end. Additionally, 15 highly qualified individuals volunteer their time to serve as 'cyber think tank' subject matter experts gratis, and 10 organizations serve as a voluntary advisory board (includes academic institutions). Additionally, an estimated 10 significant resources aligned with actra's purpose are provided as a benefit of membership to members pro bono, supporting their participating in information exchange for the public good. Finally, agreements are in place with both major state and federal government law enforcement/intelligence organizations and a several non-profit organizations (including national information sharing and analysis organizations (isao) defined in the president's february 2015 executive order), formally providing for the exchange of information to protect our national infrastructure and national security interests. All agreements provide significant 'like kind' support to actra. Additionally, our member organizations representative's volunteer their personal and professional time in actively attending forums, serving on workgroups and even supporting national exercises, all to voluntarily protect critical infrastructure and key resources critical to arizona, and our national security interests. Finally, the program has put in place educational support integrated within the state fusion center, supported the dod and other major federal and state agencies collaboratively, and contributed initiated agency cases through member organization information exchange to prosecute cyber crime. Finally, in cooperation with the us department of homeland security, actra undertook the arizona cyber sandstorm cyber exercise, bringing public and private entities together to exercise barriers to collaborative cross sector information exchange.
