Causes: Centers to Support the Independence of Specific Populations, Human Services
Mission: To promote the advancement & full participation of persons with disabilities in all aspects of life.
Programs: Grant program: provided independent living core services and auxiliary services to persons with all types of disabilities in 54 central texas counties. Activities included are peer consulting, independent living skills training, information and referral, individual and systems advocacy, outreach activities, technical assistance, newsletters and brochures, local media and a public awareness campaign.

The design of current relocation services help nursing facility residents of all ages to: live in the most integrated community setting appropriate to their individual support requirements and their preferences; exercise meaningful choices about their living environment, providers and services; obtain quality services in a manner as consistent as possible with their community living preferences and priorities.
