Mission: To provide social and recreational services to the people of the arbor hill area of albany, ny; a low income community.
Programs: Hiv/aids prevention program uses youth to educate other youth in schools and the community at large about hiv/aids, through educational presentation outreach and fine arts performances. Over 5000 youths are served each year.
recreation/tutor program provides quality after school and evening programs for youth ages 5-20 focusing on educational support, recreational activities, computer enrichment and life skills. Over 135 youth are served in the various programs.
nutritional program provides nutritious foods and snacks to youth in the after school and evening program. Over 135 youths are served by this program. The center also runs a food pantry which supplies emergency food supplies to adults and families with children.
