Mission: To rescue, rehabilitate and rehome senior and special needs companion animals. A home-like, cage-free, lifelong sanctuary is provided for every animal that enters the program.
Programs: To rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome senior and special needs companion animals. Friends forever farm houses approximately 100 cats, 45 dogs, 2 goats, 2 hogs, and 6 horses at any time, which is maximum capacity. Approximately half of the animals are relinquished by their owners, who are often elderly. The other half come from shelters and rescues to save animals from euthanasia. The animals arrive requiring varying degrees of medical attention and rehabilitation. Some have been rescued from cruelty and neglect. Since inception in 2003, over 2000 aniamls have been helped. The forever farm is inspected and licensed by the north carolina department of agriculture.

A formal pet sponsorship program was initiated that allows individuals to support an animal of their choice by a one-time or monthly contribution.
