This "college" ignores science and best best current clinical understanding, takes peer reviewed studies out of context, and tries to get get the SPLc labeled as a hate group. A fine upstanding organization indeed.

I am the Executive Director of the American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists. I have worked with the administration of the American College of Pediatricians for the last 5 years, and closely collaborated with ACPeds in planning and implementing the annual Matthew Bulfin Educational Conference, which we held jointly with ACPeds in 2016. ACPeds is a high quality, professional medical organization whose research is thorough, and whose position statements are well researched and well articulated. I have been impressed with the depth of professional expertise and the knowledge of best pediatric practices that ACPeds constantly employs. AAPLOG is proud to be co-sponsoring the 2017 Matthew Bulfin Conference again this year with ACPeds.

I have worked with the Board of Directors of this organization now for several years. I have the pleasure of working alongside a group of physicians who are truly committed to children, family and society. There are many issues facing our society that have become political hot potatoes. No one wants to speak out and many medical societies have bowed to political correctness or remain silent. Why? They don't want to damage their organizations, their practices, or their opportunities to receive funding and grants. The Board members of ACPeds - and in fact all of the members of ACPeds - have endured insults publicly and privately being called "haters," and "discriminators." When in fact, members of ACPeds to not hate or discriminate. They are fully committed to providing the best care for all of their patients by sharing the most accurate, ethical, and evidenced-based medicine available despite that fact that the information may not be popular or 'politically correct.'
