Nonprofit Overview
Mission: PROVIDE WHEELCHAIRS AND ACCESSORIES FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO NEED THEM BUT CANNOT AFFORD THEM, AND WHO DO NOT QUALIFY FOR ANY OTHER FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
Results: We had a 62% increase in clients we helped in 2016 an all time record 225 person with disabilities. Our mission is to provide quality used wheelchairs, mobility equipment, and repair services to individuals and families demonstrating financial need. Values Our clients are your friends and neighbors right here in West Michigan… seniors to small children, we’re changing lives by improving their quality of life through mobility equipment. Belief Access to mobility equipment is the path to independence. Impact We serve persons with disabilities and bring together people, ideas and resources to break down barriers to sustain a healthy community.
Target demographics: We provide quality used wheelchairs and repairs to ind. and families demonstrating financial need. Gaps in health insurance or being uninsured can prevent disabled individuals from meeting their mobility needs.
Direct beneficiaries per year: 225 disablied persons including children.

Programs: We provide mobility assistance 225 in 2016. Staff and the Board of Directors are working on increasing our resources and capacity to meet the need.
