Mission: Adult well-being services promotes health, well-being, and independence through advocacy, services, and community engagement.
Programs: The purpose of intellectual developmental disability services (idds) is to foster consumer empowerment, promote independence, and encourage self fulfillment,self determination,and community participation for all individuals and families served. The organization served approximately 500 clients during the year ended september 30, 2016. Idds earned a 90 percent satisfaction rating from the consumers served.
the purpose of mental health and substance use disorder services is to provide services that reduce symptoms of mental illness and substance use disorders. Awbs' mental health professionals use evidence based practices to assist consumers in their treatment and recovery. This includes assessments,individual and group therapy,crisis planning and community integration.
the purpose of health promotion services is to support individuals in making decisions that promote physical and emotional well-being to achieve independence and a satisfying quality of life. This includes health education and screenings to prevent substance abuse and a variety of other health related programs that aid and support individuals and/or their families.
