I am not sure if this is the same Alcohol and Drug Council of Middle Tennessee that existed twenty years ago in Nashville? The mission statement sounds the same. If it is anything like the former agency there are lives being saved and changed by the outreaching of staff who have a suffering heart for addicts and those who love them. May there be much support in our community for an agency such as this.

Causes: Mental Health, Substance Abuse Dependency, Prevention & Treatment
Mission: We offer solutions to those affected by alcohol and drug addictions.
Programs: The Addiction & Recovery Support Program provides services at ADC’s agency and in jail cells, courtrooms and probation offices; places where individuals are poised to make a change. Services Include:
- Addiction Treatment and Recovery Support This includes peer-mentoring, client instruction, relapse prevention groups, assessment and one-on-one addiction counseling. Our staff provides these services at our facility and “out in the trenches” too. If our clients cannot come to us, we go to them.
- Care Coordination/Case Management Services are offered as part of a wraparound continuum of care. This Program works in alignment with the philosophy that individuals without housing, transportation, medical attention or income are unlikely to stay clean and sober. Case Managers working from satellite locations in North and East Nashville provide client assessment and referral so that clients ultimately help themselves.
