Mission: The Albany Girls Club is a nonprofit organization which has been providing services to girls and youth in Albany and Rensselaer Counties for nearly 40 years. Founded in 1961, our mission is to provide a safe, positive environment to enhance the growth and personal development of youth, primarily girls. Through our educational and recreational programs, we seek to provide opportunities that encourage the development of life skills, self-esteem and positive attitudes and help them become responsible citizens of our community.
