Causes: Education
Mission: Afton christian school is a caring christ-centered educational institution that partners in the training of students to love god with their heart, soul, mind and strength; to equip them according to the foundational knowledge and wisdom contained in god's word; to be servant leaders who follow god's leading and purpose for their life.
Programs: Chromebook technology: students utilize chromebooks in grades 5th-12th. These expenses cover the cost of the management software for the school to monitor chromebooks as well as teaching application that assist the faculty in class instruction.
field trips are coordinated throughout the year for all grade levels to participate. We want to offer students hands-on learning opportunities that are off-site from the school facility.
classroom expenses cover the upgrades needed in the classroom to create an environment for learning. Updated whiteboards, decorative themes, education manipulatives, teaching aids, and chair covers are just a few of the associated expenses used specifically for the students in the classrooms.
