Mission: To provide residents a comfortable, community-based housing alternative in which they can develop skills that will enable them to achieve maximum functioning, and ultimately, to secure independent or semi-independent housing.
Programs: In 2016 arrs was awarded a 260,000. 00 grant for six (6) additional beds to provided intensive residential services for adults with a severe and persistent mental illness (spmi) who require intensive supports in their daily living. As an alternative to long-term inpatient hospitalization, the intensive treatment residential program promotes community living and fosters the development of skills that prepare residents for living in a semi-structured environment with a more moderate level of support. This program will be evaluated yearly for renewal of funding. In february 2017, aftercare residential rehabilitative services was awarded its "three year accreditation from the commission on accredited rehabilitation facilities (carf) for the 5th time in fifteen years.
