Mission: At african road inc we partner with grassroots leaders in east africa providing training and resources.
Programs: African road in partnership with the kitega center of uganda provided a comprehensive leadership training conference for community leaders in kenya, tanzania, uganda, rwanda, and burundi. The conference provided participants from the different countries to share experiences and best practices on training their communities in savings and business groups. The conference also provided access to expert consultants from europe and the united states. African road in partnership with new hope for girls organization (nhgo) of tanzania provided business training skills and start up capital for a wholesale sewing supply shop in dar es salaam. The training provided basic business skills such as basic accounting, business practices, and payroll so the business may become self-sustaining and provide stable income for nhgo.
