This company is actually NOT a charity, but rather, a private therapy practice dedicated to helping those whose lives have been touched by infertility and adoption- very core issues close to the heart. The three principal therapists are amazing! warm, compassionate, intelligent, and people who really understand the painful challenges and losses that are inherent in the experience. They worked with me through my tears and angst about not creating a biological child, and with coping with the many medical decisions involved in deciding what to do next. Then later when my adopted child ran into some developmental problems and learning issues in school, they were with me then too, in it for the long run. So helpful to know, and reassuring too, when my child saw their sign and realized that others joined their family through adoption too - no one is alone in this! Hooray for them!
