Mission: Aditi Worldwide was created to help underprivileged women and children in India when a small group of destitute women from a village in the Pondicherry Region of Tamil Nadu in Southern India asked for help in marketing their soft fabric children's bedding and toys in America. These women, who called their small business "Aditi" are now being trained in practical vocation and business skills. Aditi Worldwide was formed not only to provide economic stability for these particular women, but to help underprivileged, destitute women and children throughout this region of India. In order to always remember that small group of women who were struggling to make ends meet, Aditi Worldwide took on the Aditi name. All management of Aditi Worldwide is provided on a volunteer basis.
