Mission: Offering classes and activities for seniors over age of 50
Programs: Course program: acadia senior college offered 42 classes during three semesters to 504 enrolling students. Classes were taught by volunteers at twelve donated sites. All textbooks, copied materials and most supplies were provided by students.
community events: the college offered an expanded variety of activities, many open to the general public, including lectures, lunchtime programs, dinner discussions, breakfast "coffee-clashes", movies, a concert and instruction and friendly competition in sporting activities such as curling and croquet.
