Mission: Founded in 1986, Absaroka Search Dogs' primary callout area is Montana and surrounding areas, but with transport this group could respond anywhere. Areas of scent detection include wilderness, urban, water, avalanche, evidence, cadaver, collapsed structure and tracking/trailing. Using the highly trained search dog, search managers can often search an area for a lost person, much faster and with a greater degree of accuracy.
