I have been through so many surgeries, procedures, clinic visits and struggles this year due to my chronic illness. I think that having a chronic illness is glorified sometimes and recently I have been struggling mentally quite a bit. Today I received a package from Abby’s Hope Project and it absolutely made my day. She has no idea how much this package has helped me and brought the encouragement I so desperately needed!
Abby’s Hope Project has been amazing!!! I received my package just in time for PANDAS/PANS day! It included my favorite things and fun activities such as UNO!
I received a package from Abby’s Hope Project and it was perfect. I have been really struggling with my health lately and this was the perfect pick me up :)
It was a very nice and unexpected gift to get on the day that my surgery was canceled. I was really bummed out that day but my mom brought me an unexpected package that had a lot of things that I could play with and explore while being bedridden. I have been bedridden since July 2021. That is when I suddenly lost my eyesight. It really brightened my day. I keep some of these gifts in my drawer so I can get them out and play with them. Thank you Abby’s Hope Project!

In summer 2020, my family received a devastating diagnosis for 2 of our 3 daughters. Miraculously, we were able to get both girls enrolled in a clinical trial for gene therapy. My oldest and I headed to the NIH for a 4.5 month stay enduring countless exams and procedures. In between, we stayed at the Childrens’s Inn. That was where we received a care package from Abby’s Hope Project. While seemingly simple, the smile on my daughters face meant the world to me. Learning more about Abby’s story impressed me even more as it’s not easy to make a good thing out of a bad situation.
As a recipient of happiness in an otherwise dark time for my family, I strongly encourage anyone support Abby’s Hope Project!
