Mission: A michael fux foundation for the benefit of florida law enforcement officers injured in the line of duty, inc. Is a corporation that will operate exclusively in furtherance of the following purposes: 1. To receive donations, contributions and other funds for charitable purposes that qualify under section 501(c) (3) of the internal revenue code; and 2. To organize and execute charitable events for charitable purposes that qualify under section 501(c) (3) of the internal revenue code. The foundation is empowered to do any other act incidental to or in advancement of its charitable purpose, but has no other plans for such activities at this time. It should be noted that the organizational documents expressly prohibit the foundation from engaging in any actions that could violate the foundation's tax-exempt status under sections 501(c)(3) and 170(c) (2) of the code.
Programs: A michael fux foundation for the benefit of florida law enforcement officers injured in the line of duty, inc. Will raise funds through personal solicitations and is in the process of organizing charitable events to raise additional funds through charitable community events, including, but not limited to car shows, car washes, and social benefits.
