City lights event 2017 - the chudnow museum hosts an annual talk/presentation about milwaukee's history. This year's talk was structured around the old coal gasification plant in the menomonee valley which is home to the current zimmerman architectural studios. Chudnow museum had john gurda, local historian, talk about the history of the menomonee valley and then had the ceo of zimmerman talk about the history of his building and its renovation into an office space. Admission was charged for the event and the museum received support from sponsors to cover some of the expenses so that a larger share would end up going to the museum.
