Causes: Amateur Sports Competitions, Sports
Mission: 12 fields foundation was created to address the field space shortage that was causing problems for the community sports leagues in the westlake community of austin, texas.
Programs: 12 fields foundation is working to help develop a project known as the river hills sports park. Currently, 12 fields foundation is engaging in fundraising efforts to raise the money necessary to develop the 50-acre parcel that has plans for eight baseball fields; four multi-use fields that will be lined for football, soccer, lacrosse and rugby; a state-of-the-art indoor facility equipped for basketball and volleyball; three tennis courts; dedicated concessions; restroom facilities; and two community playscapes. The project will be developed on land leased from the eanes independent school district, which serves the westlake community.
