The High Bridge Community Association, Inc. formed a volunteer fire department and built a fire station in this small community that was over 12 miles from the nearest fire station in 1983. Since the formation of the Association and the fire station, the Association has worked to secure garbage service and city water to every home in the community. They are now working to get city sewer service to the citizens of this community. When there is a need in High Bridge, resources are gathered to help the family. We are fortunate to have a place to meet and gather to discuss needs of the community and to look for solutions.
