“Together For The Good (TFTG) is a Top Tier Non-Profit Organization. I highly recommend them to all of my contacts within my vast Network. They are legit & vetted. (TFTG) assists the spouses & children of our veterans, & first responder community who like the veterans, also need counselors & mental health treatment. It truly does take a Village to help support our MILTribe. There is NO cookie cutter method or overnight formula to secure a successful transition. Everyone’s experience is & will be different. You have to find what fits into your life & set change expectations. But, it’s great to know that Together For The Good is here to navigate you through all of the unknowns to help alleviate any further stress & burden. Nonetheless, they continue to beat the Glorious Drum in taking care of our own. And for this, I'm truly humbly grateful for what (TFTG) is doing in making a positive impact amongst many lives!"
They are awesome! From their approach to the problem to their swift and powerful solutions they provide, TFTG is any Veterans #RangerBuddy
TFTG continues to develop innovative programs that no one in the industry is focused on with high quality individuals.
They are making a huge difference in the lives of families Who have military or first responder family. I wish this was around a few years ago for me.
The organization helps military veterans, and most importantly, their families with mental illness and holistic health. One area for Improvement is strategies for increasing resources to design and implement a strong system.
The nonprofit is perfect. Nothing needs to be improved. They're doing great work. They're supporting a lot of people and helping a lot of people.
They are on a mission to help veterans, police/ fire, first responders - and their families - heal the invisible wound of tbi, ptsd, suicide, etc, and change how 411 in subjects is presented.
My name is Brooke Ford and I host a weekly radio program on Turf’s Up Radio “The only radio station dedicated to the Green Industry” called “The Green Veteran”. (www.turfsupradio.com) I dedicate a portion of each show to discuss issues that are important to veterans. While searching for people to feature/interview on the program I came across Together for the Good and spoke with Tawnya Bouma, the founder. She instantly won me over with her organization’s mission of supporting veterans, first responders and also their families. This was of particular interest to me as I had served for several years in the United States Army as an infantry officer and deployed to Iraq in 2004 to command and infantry company of 135 men. As a result, she has been a permanent weekly guest on the program, I am committed to giving her a platform to get her message out and help as many people as possible. I have experienced firsthand the traumatic affects on the soldier and their families. In particular the families as the do not get enough attention and assistance coping with the things they have endured. Together for the Good is striving to change that. She has helped me on a very personal level as I have struggled with many issues since returning home in 2005. Together for the Good is a special organization and I am grateful to have met them. I sincerely hope that you will consider them for this grant. They would make good use of the money and continue to help countless people.

On behalf of Together For The Good Inc. I want to personally thank you Brooke for your kind words and giving us a platform to reach many that are suffering in silence. You are loved and appreciated and we cant thank you enough for trusting us in your healing journey.
Community outreach. More of a boots on ground affair than most. Personally, I have no doubt that donations are properly used to provide women with support. The only room for improvement I could possibly think of is difficulty in growth. Volunteering in inner city areas can be difficult, however these women are definitely up to the challenge. More about action than events and self promotion, they're honestly one of the most active 501.3c's I know of.
The CEO of this organization is a true compassionate leader to make the families of the Veteran and First Responder community feel that they actually have a voice. I have watched the growth and know the success of Together For The Good Inc will become a household name that can be dependable for years to come. There programs are exceptional and a much needed recorce.
