I have been a volunteer since 2011 when after a course in International Politics I was assign to research all the NGO's. For some reason I connected with the cause and brought it to the campus. I was raising awareness of displaced families and all the have to go through to just survive. With the UN Association in my campus we worked with several campaigns of this wonderful organization. I became so passionate that last year I volunteer on a refugee resettlement in the USA. It was a great experience, listening to them share their stories. They invited me to their homes, where we sat and they offered me tea and we talk for hours. From doctors, to housewives they had lost everything. No one deserves to leave their homes and countries just to survive, everyone should have a secure home where they can go back to every night. We should become more aware of what the wars cause and try our best to stop them. Thanks to them I have decided to volunteer after I graduate from law school.
Worked with the Miami office of this organization and it was the worse management. The boss bullied workers and was involved with a fundraiser. not professional
