Mission: Seeking to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity of Smith County brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.
Target demographics: low-income people with housing needs
Direct beneficiaries per year: 150 homeowners with critical repairs and multiple families became homeowners through our new home program.
Geographic areas served: Tyler, Texas and serve East Texans in 7 counties including: Smith, Wood, Cherokee, Anderson, Henderson, Rusk and Van Zandt
Programs: Habitat builds several homes a year for low-income families. Rehabitat helps seniors, veterans and people with disabilities with critical home repairs. We perform over 150 repairs each year in seven East Texas counties. To learn more and apply visit smithcountyhabitat.org
