Causes: Child Abuse Prevention, Children & Youth, Children & Youth Services, Civil Rights, Crime & Law, Domestic Violence, Protection Against Abuse
Mission: Educate the community regarding its responsibility for abused and neglected children by recruiting court appointed volunteers to serve as independent voices in their best interest and to advocate for these children through the state foster care system and district court.
Programs: Casa for kids of east texas, inc. Provides trained volunteer advocates for abused or neglected children involved in juvenile or family courts. In 2017, 565 children were provided services.
