My husband and I are both patients there. Because of the employment situation and some health issues of mine, neither us are working. However, we are medically cared for by this amazing place!!

Open Arms is a God-send to our community. It is supported totally by donations and volunteer providers so no money is diverted to "organizational expenses." Patients are treated with respect and services are provided at no cost.

Because of my own illness I had to step back as a volunteer at Open Arms Clinic in Toccoa,GA. But let me tell you of the hardworking dedicated volunteers there. They give without receiving to our comunity of people who have no other place to turn to. For some people Open Arms is their saving grace. The volunteers there give of their time, gifts, experience and heart you can't ask for better.

This care provided by this clinic is for some patients, a matter of life and death. These patients are not on Medicare, Medicaid, or SS Disability, but cannot afford traditional medical care or medications which are essential to their well-being. The nurses, doctors, the pharmacist and administrators who volunteer their time and skills are heroes in our community.

As a nurse volunteer at Open Arms Clinic I see first hand how needed it is in the community!. With the economy and the job losses in this area of Ga. Many have lost health insurance that are in great need of being treated for cronic problems such as high blood pressure; diabeties etc. To be able to keep our community healthy is a cost effective measure every community needs. God bless all those that vlounteer time; money and resourses. Thank you Thank you.

As a citizen of Stephens County I am blessed to see generous people reaching out to the less fortunate in our community. A very organized and professional organization that exemplifies compassion; which is hard to find in the world of non-profits.

The Open Arms Clinic is a wonderful organization who cares about the less fortunate in our community. They operate on less than a shoe-string budget and employ professional caretakers on a voluntary basis. They deserve our thanks and support.

This organization has been open since 2007, and it has been a shining light in the Stephens County community! They work diligently to help patients receive their medications and other services for free.
