As a private school administrator, I have found the Northwest Ohio Scholarship fund to be an indispensable help in fulfilling particular financial needs within our educational community. The NOSF Inc. maintains a fair and effective approach towards the satisfaction of its organizational goals, and they do so with class and character.

Amazing!!! We have been so blessed by this nonprofit. Our son is able to get a great education at a great Christian school and go to a school where he knows a lot of people Without the scholarship we wouldn’t have been able to afford the tuition. The organization has been great with communication and questions. Thank you all!!

NOSF does wonderful work giving families the opportunity of choice in choosing a private school or homeschooling. The scholarship helps make this choice affordabile.

NOSF is a friendly, up close and PERSONAL non-profit who knows the students they serve and goes above and beyond to find donors and ensure they keep funding each year to benefit all their students. Whenever I've had a question, it is promptly answered. I have had the distinct pleasure of benefiting from their scholarships for the last 10 years . For me personally, after health care, education is the most vital resource necessary to bring up a well-formed child and contributing citizen to society, and NOSF works tirelessly to make their contribution.

I am a single mom with two sons that I needed to remove from the public school system two years ago to get them the support they needed, as both are gifted academically and both also struggle with anxiety. So when I enrolled them in our local Catholic school, I struggled with how to pay the tuition. When I found out that NOSF could help pay a significant percentage of the tuition for my son in junior high, I was ecstatic. The move to the Catholic school helped lessen his anxiety due to the smaller class sizes and caring, involved teachers. And this year, they have a new scholarship for him through high school! This gives me peace of mind that I can manage to keep him at this school that is so good for him.

They are very friendly and helpful. Without NOSF I wouldn't have been able to send my child to the private school that he loves.

Without the scholarship my niece receives from Northwest Ohio Scholarship Fund there would be no way to afford her education. This is life changing for her and SOOO very much appreciated. Over the years NOSF has enabled students who did not qualify for the EdChoice scholarship and could not afford a Catholic/private education to attend our school. Without this financial help so many young people would not have entered our doors of education. They would not have behave missed this chance to grow and succeed in our school environment. We would have missed the blessing they were/are to our school. NOSF works tirelessly to make sure there are funds to cover the cost of a solid education for those who reach out and ask for the help. NOSF has been a true blessing.

In these economically challenging times, parents find it hard to put dinner on the table and choose the school of their choice. The Northwest Ohio Scholarship Fund puts hope back in the equation. We are so thankful for NOSF. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to afford the curriculum that best fits our children’s educational needs. The scholarship has made homeschooling so much easier. We also are thankful for other benefits they offer- like discounts to Fort Meigs, or occasional tickets to Mud Hens games or Imagination Station. We are so blessed to have NOSF for our community!

We are not a"poor" family, but we are working class and I am primarily an at home mom because I feel that is important. It is so nice that there is something out there for those of us that don't qualify for government aid, but still can't really afford to send our kids to a tuition based school. I have worked at NOSF for 7 months now as the Communications and Development Director. NOSF is a wonderful organization that truly makes a difference in families lives. The ability for a family to be able to choose the education that fiits their family is truly a blessing for them. Working with Ann Riddle the Executive Director is such a positive experience. The wonderful work she is doing to make a difference for these families is remarkable. Northwest Ohio is so fortunate to have NOSF serving 19 counties and 67 schools in the program this year. The success of such a program would not be possible without Ann and the supportive Board Members she has making a difference in growing minds and creating futures.

The Northwest Ohio Scholarship Find Inc made it extremely easy to apply and the scholarship we received helped us to continue to be able to participate in the Mansfield Christian Independent Studies Program. I also like the newsletters they send out which makes me feel like we are part of their extended family.

As a LIAL elementary alum, I knew what a private education could mean foundationally for students. Even though our public schools were rated well, we knew there was more to elementary and middle school educational success than strictly academic assessments and ratings. NOSF was instrumental in first opening the door to an alternative educational experience for our children, when we didn't think we had such incredible options. Ann has been a pleasure to work with all along, and NOSF has been amazing. My kids have flourished as students at Toledo Christian School, where spiritual formation and a classic curriculum are offered, and our family benefits in ways that cannot be measured. What NOSF provides is life altering. Being able to be assisted just to get to the top of the mountain is such a relief. They are with you all the way until you reach the peak. We are a single income family who wants the best education possible for the children, just like other parents. We are in our 3rd year of being a scholarship family. The first 2 years our child attended a private school with the scholarship and this year we are homeschooling two of our children using the scholarship fund, what a blessing in our family's lives this great organization has been! I could not be more appreciative than I am right now for the amazing individuals at NOSF. This is the first year that I was able to qualify for the scholarship for my daughter. I have been a volunteer and Board member since NOSF's inception in 1998. I have witnessed firsthand the tremendous impact that parental choice in education can have on the life of a student. Parents of all financial means deserve a chance at that kind of choice. NOSF provides it better than any organization I have seen. A quality education does more to empower a person than almost any other experience. What better way to bring hope for the future than to provide a student with that gift. NOSF is a living example of Margaret Mead's axiom; "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."

I have been involved with this organization since its inception. Thousands of families have been helped. As an educator, I know how important parental involvement is. This program partners with the parent and keeps the parent in the loop. Students in this program succeed.

As the principal of a Catholic school, I am so grateful for the good work done by NWOSF. This wonderful organization helps parents who would like to have more options for their child's education, but may not have the financial means. My children are recipients of the NWOSF scholarships and we couldn't be more grateful for them! The scholarships allow us to provide our children a private education at some excellent schools. NWOSF keeps in close contact with the recipients through email, newsletters and social media. It's an excellent charity and we're proud to be a part of it!

We have four children and have always been committed to Catholic Education K-8 and High School.
Both my wife and I have worked in Catholic Education and currently my wife teaches 2nd Grade at a Catholic elementary school in the Diocese of Toledo. I work for a Catholic charity - Little Sisters of the Poor. We both try and live our lives so as to make a difference in helping others.

Northwest Ohio Scholarship Fund is an incredible organization helping so many children all over northwest Ohio. When I was younger, I attended a 2 catholic schools in the Toledo area and I personally knew a classmate and friend that benefited from NOSF's hard work and determination to give her a private education. I know I wouldn't be the person I am today without the lessons and values I leaned through my private education, and I know my friend feels the same. Northwest Ohio Scholarship Fund is a great cause because it is working to give children the chance at the education they deserve to provide them a better future. My future is brighter because of the opportunities I had attending a private school, and when I have the financial stability, I am going to support Northwest Ohio Scholarship Fund to give students the opportunities that I had.
