The Mississippi Center for Re-Entry is an excellent program providing services to those who are often left our or forgotten about. The founder of the program, Cynetra Freeman, is a passionate, self-driven individual definitely striving to make a difference in the lives of others.
I attended the Reentry Conference and Resource Fair and all the speakers where amazing. Cynetra seem to actually care about the reentry community and that is the type of leadership we need to help returning citizens.

MCR is a great non-profit that is dedicated to its cause. Ms.Cynetra Freeman, its founder, is one of the most passionate and involved individuals I have met who continuously remains involved in the re-entry community. Their first annual conference was great as it had a lot of information and resources to share from very knowledgeable professionals in the legal field. Overall, I had a wonderful time as an intern here as they are genuinely committed to making it an insightful experience. Thank you, MCR!

The Mississippi Center for Re-Entry has been transformative in the lives of racially marginalized and poor people who were formerly incarcerated since its founding in 2017. Cynetra, the founder and CEO of the Mississippi Center for Re-Entry, pours her heart and soul into helping formerly incarcerated people re-integrate back into society. The work the Mississippi Center for Re-Entry does is pivotal not only for Mississippi, which is a leading state in incarceration rates, but the nation as a whole because they assist in decreasing recidivism. This re-unites families and promotes public safety.
