Programs: Cultural events:(1) community breakfasts were held every month, with about 120-150 people attending each breakfast. (2) eid community celebrations were held twice a year, with about 250 people attending each celebration. (3) community picnics were held 4 times a year, with about 150 people attending each picnic. (4) cooking classes were held every month, with about 20 people attending each class. (5) iftar dinners were held on five days during ramadan.
youth activities: (1) saturday tutoring: tutoring in both cultural classes and turkish classes were held every saturday with about 35 students. (2) youth camps were held two or three times a year, in the winter and summer with about 15 youth. There was tutoring in math science and other classes as well as outdoor and entertainment activities.
winter retreat program december 2016:annual retreat program was 7 days long and was attended by 100-120 people. Each day of retreat was comprised of lectures, book reading, and discussions; movie time; as well as enrichment classes for youth and kids attending.
