Home of the longest running Jazz Camp in the country, the Shell Lake Arts Center has had a history of providing fantastic arts education. I have attended both the oil painting class in 2007 and Jazz Camp in 2008, 2009, and 2010. This is a great place for junior high and high school students to try out their skills in the arts, or really hone in on their skills. Camp participants have great instructors who work closely with their students and provide them with the skills to continue improving after camp. Jazz Camp was a life-changing experience for me .
